Code of Conduct

ICSF has established a set of guidelines for all individuals who represent the club in any fashion be it players, coaches, parents and guardians, officials or spectators. The purpose of these guidelines are to ensure that the soccer experience at ICSF is a fun and positive experience for all those involved.


Players must…

• Respect the rules of the game
• Show respect for your teammates, coaches, managers and spectators.
• Listen to your coaches and treat them with respect
• Respect the official’s decisions without criticism whether you agree with them or not
• Respect your opponents in all situations
• Be a positive team member and encourage each other in a positive manner
• Attend all practices and games, always try your hardest and listen to your coaches
• Never use abusive language, inappropriate gestures or bullying to anyone at the soccer fields
• Be respectful of the facilities and the equipment supplied for their enjoyment
• Be aware the club has zero tolerance for abuse of an official, opposing players, spectators or coaches.


Parents & Guardians must…

• Always be respectful of the officials and never criticize decisions
• Encourage players on both teams with only positive statements and cheering
• Not coach from the sidelines or the stands and show respect for the coach as your children will do as you do
• Be an example of good sportsmanship to their children
• Communicate problems to your coach respectfully and in private
• Never enter the field of play and should always watch the game opposite the field of the coach and team
• Never get involved in an altercation on the field
• Support your children in every way both on the field and off.
• Be aware the club has zero tolerance for abuse of an official, opposing players, spectators or coaches.


Coaches must…

• Always show respect to the officials and never criticize their decisions.
• Act as a role model to the children of on and off field behavior
• Encourage the players to have fun and continually develop their skills
• Never enter the field of play without the referees permission
• Control your temper on the field, with the officials, players and parents
• Adhere to the rules of the game
• Communicate with the players your expectations not through frustration
• Treat all players respectfully, both on your team and the opposition
• Ensure the players safety is first and foremost in all situations
• Never encourage dirty play or actions outside the rules.
• Not engage the opposite teams players or coaches in a disrespectful manner
• Be aware the club has zero tolerance for abuse of an official, opposing players, spectators or coaches.
